Pesquiè Artemia 2011 Wine advocate Ratings : 93pts Ausgabe 227 vom Oktober 2016
"A wine I wish I had a case of, the 2011 Cotes du Ventoux Cuvee Artemia just screams Provence on the nose with its sun-filledarray of kirsch, blackberry, ground herbs, peppery spice andcrushed flowers. While a lot of 2011s come up short onconcentration and depth, this beauty is perfectly balanced, has alayered, seamless texture and fine tannin, all suggesting it willevolve nicely through 2023."
"Showing even better than when I tasted it last year, the 2011 Cotes du Ventoux Cuvee Artemia is comprised of equal parts Grenache (80+ year-old vines) and Syrah (50+ year-old vines), and spends 18 months in half new and half used barrels. Loaded with gorgeously pure, blackberry, cassis, spice, chalky minerality and floral notes, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, no hard edges and integrated, juicy acidity. Enjoy it over the coming 10-12 years or more."
"
50:50 Grenache and Syrah co-fermented and very old vines, up to 80 years old. Half new oak and they are hoping to age the wine for 15 years.
Very juicy and sweet and flattering. So sweet and rich! Chewy finish. Exciting, full of potential though still very tight."
Jancis Robinson verkostete den Artemia 2007 am 11. Dezember 2009.
"A blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah aged in 225-liter casks, it is produced from the estate’s oldest vines as well as lowest yields (15-25 hectoliters per hectare). A creamy-styled wine exhibiting a dense purple color, sweet blackberry, boysenberry, licorice, pepper, and earth-like aromas, and a lush, sexy, sensual personality, it is a hedonistic tour de force to enjoy over the next 4-5 years."
